The Charm of Ropponmatsu 1-chome

Ropponmatsu 1-chome is a residential area located north of Ropponmatsu Station, between Ohori Park.
This area, which is the site of Gokoku Shrine, is mostly rented land, and due to restrictions such as not being able to rebuild, the buildings that were once residential buildings
have been renovated and replaced one after another with unique, privately owned shops, making it an attractive area where you can enjoy strolling through the back alleys.

In addition to your experience at Nonoma, please also enjoy a stroll around Ropponmatsu 1-Chome.

The Charm of Ohori Park

Fukuoka's central park, Ohori Park, was formerly the moat of Fukuoka Castle and has since been used as a place of relaxation for locals after hosting the World Expo and other events.
The park is attractive for its natural and culturally rich environment, including the remains of Fukuoka Castle, the Korokan Museum, the Fukuoka Art Museum, a Japanese garden, and the Ohori Park Noh Theatre.
